1. Who operates Quoter
Rampage Labs operates Quoter. This policy covers its website, optional customer profiles, detailer workspaces, quote and appointment pages, support intake, and communications, including integrations when enabled.
Your selected detailer receives information needed for the service and is responsible for its own practices. External payment, sign-in, map, and communication providers have their own policies. This policy does not cover unrelated websites or activities outside Quoter.
2. Information you provide
We collect information submitted for accounts, quotes, appointments, settings, and support. Avoid government identification, full payment credentials, health information, or unnecessary sensitive details in free-text fields.
- Account/business data: verified sign-in identifier, profile contact defaults, saved vehicles and private job references, name, email, business contacts, service area/location, description, publication choice, services, rates, hours, and working preferences.
- Customer/job data: name, email, optional phone and SMS choice, vehicle year/make/model/optional trim, seats/material, condition, services, quote amounts, appointment times, approvals, address, and notes.
- Support data: submitted contact details, category, description, and record references, plus request timestamps, review status, and private staff notes.
3. Location and maps
Browser location is optional and uses your device's permission control. Coordinates and accuracy can select a business pin, find nearby detailers, or record a mobile service location. Your selected detailer receives saved service coordinates; published business pins are public.
You can decline location, enter an address, or use map controls. Revoking browser permission does not erase saved coordinates. Tile requests reveal network information and the displayed map area to the provider. Clicking Google Maps directions passes the destination to Google.
4. Payment and communication records
When enabled, Stripe collects checkout and connected-account details on hosted pages. Quoter stores references, amounts, currency, status, and verification records for deposits, not full card or bank credentials. Owner-entered external-payment records are also stored.
Message records include recipient contact, outgoing content/private status link, type, timestamps, provider references, attempts, and status. Authenticated delivery callbacks may add delivery time, provider status, and error codes. A delivery report does not prove that you read a message. Quoter automatically records a customer's affirmative text-update choice, including the disclosure and its version, time, submission method, phone number, and selected business/program. Earlier consent records may include written evidence recorded by a detailer. Terms acceptance is recorded separately from optional text consent. Resend delivers email and Twilio delivers SMS when configured. Provider acceptance alone does not prove delivery.
For text-message choices, Quoter stores the sending account and number, recipient number, suppression state, and keyword-event references and times. It also retains limited webhook event identifiers and integrity hashes to authenticate and deduplicate updates. Quoter does not store the raw content of incoming text messages in these preference or webhook records; Twilio and carriers may process or retain messages under their own practices.
5. Technical information and browser storage
Quoter's sign-in forms process your email, password, and verification or recovery codes to authenticate with Supabase. Passwords and codes pass through Quoter's server for that request; Quoter does not save them in its account or session records. Supabase handles the account credentials and email verification. Earlier Sites/ChatGPT sign-in supplies an identifier, name, and email for the explicit recovery bridge, not a ChatGPT password.
Quoter uses an essential HttpOnly session cookie containing an opaque sign-in value. Server-side session records in Cloudflare D1 hold encrypted Supabase access and refresh tokens, account references, and expiry information. The browser does not receive those provider tokens from Quoter. Sign-in attempt counters and hashed rate-limit identifiers help limit abuse. This necessary storage is separate from advertising or tracking cookies.
Providers process technical information such as IP address, browser information, and security events. For support abuse limits, Quoter stores a salted hash of the hosting-provided IP address, not the raw address. Quoter does not install advertising analytics or write tracking cookies, use personal information for targeted advertising, or conduct cross-site profiling. We do not change these app practices in response to a browser Do Not Track signal.
6. How we use information
We use information for private profiles and saved jobs, workspaces, chosen public profiles, quotes, appointments, deposits, authorized updates, support/privacy requests, error resolution, security, and legal obligations.
New signed-in jobs are indexed to the verified user identifier. Earlier unbound jobs can be linked only through an explicit private-link claim and matching verified sign-in email, not automatic searches or an editable profile email. Recovering a previous Sites/ChatGPT account is a separate step requiring proof of both the earlier account and the current Quoter account. Profile changes affect future defaults, not existing job contacts or consent.
Catalog lookups send vehicle parameters to sources such as NHTSA or CarAPI, without requiring customer contacts. Price and time calculations use recorded job details/settings, not assessments of creditworthiness or eligibility for essential services.
When you type in an address-suggestion field, Quoter sends the entered search text to Photon, a geocoding service using OpenStreetMap data, to suggest matching addresses or service areas. These requests do not include your customer contact, appointment, or payment records. You may enter a service address manually without selecting a suggestion. Browser location and map features remain optional.
8. Special protection for text-message consent
Mobile opt-in information and text-message consent are excluded from general sharing permissions. We do not sell, rent, disclose for third-party marketing or promotion, or transfer that consent to another sender or messaging program. Choosing Quoter appointment texts does not authorize a detailer or another business to enroll you in unrelated promotions.
We use the supplied number, consent choice, and necessary message records only to administer the opted-in appointment program, establish and respect your choice, and provide delivery through service providers acting for that program. Necessary delivery processing does not authorize those providers to use your consent for their own marketing. You may opt out as explained in the SMS Terms.
Replying STOP suppresses texts to your number from that sending number across the detailers using it. START or UNSTOP may remove the carrier or transport block, but does not enroll you into appointments or restore consent withdrawn on an appointment page. Fresh voluntary consent is required for Quoter updates after a sender-wide STOP.
9. Public profiles and private workspaces
Detailers choose whether to publish business names, areas, business addresses, map locations, descriptions, and contacts. Publish personal contact details or home locations only if you intend them to be public.
Customer profiles, saved vehicles, and job references are private to that signed-in account. Selected detailers separately retain their service records, contacts, notes, and coordinates. Authentication and private-link protections reduce unauthorized access but cannot guarantee absolute security, particularly if accounts or links are shared.
10. Retention and deletion
Workspace records generally remain until authorized removal or a reviewed request. Retention review considers operational need, unfinished transactions, consent evidence, security, disputes, and legal requirements. Quoter has no universal automatic deletion schedule.
Removing a saved vehicle or job reference affects your profile, not the detailer's service records or appointment. Deleting a quote or appointment removes linked Quoter records as described by the control, but is not a refund or message recall. Limited text-suppression and webhook records may remain separately so opt-outs are respected and repeated events are not applied again. Providers, backups, and necessary legal/security records may follow separate retention processes. Support requests are reviewed and verified before action.
11. Your choices and applicable U.S. rights
You can decline optional SMS or browser location access and ask your detailer to correct service details. Depending on your state, the applicable law, and whether its requirements apply to Rampage Labs or the detailer, you may have rights to confirm processing, access or obtain a portable copy, correct inaccuracies, delete information, or appeal a denied request.
Applicable laws may also provide rights to opt out of sale, sharing for targeted advertising, or certain profiling, limit specified uses of sensitive information, use an authorized agent, or exercise rights without unlawful discrimination. We do not currently conduct those advertising or sale activities. We honor legally applicable opt-out requests and recognized universal opt-out signals where required; a signal does not itself cancel a booking or remove service records.
Submit a request through /support and select the relevant privacy topic. Identify the information or record involved without sending unnecessary sensitive details. We may request reasonable verification or proof of agent authority to protect your information. We respond within applicable legal timeframes and explain relevant exceptions or a denial. You can request a review or appeal through the same form where applicable, and contact your state's privacy regulator.
12. Children and age eligibility
Quoter is intended for adults; accounts and service transactions require an age of at least 18. It is not directed to children under 13. We do not intentionally collect their information and act on actual knowledge as applicable law requires.
Report suspected collection from a child under 13 through /support. We review reports and take appropriate removal or restriction steps. Do not include full identification documents initially.
13. Updates and privacy contact
We post this policy's effective date and update it when our practices change. Material changes will receive appropriate notice and any consent required by law. A revised policy does not silently authorize unrelated use of previously collected information.
For questions, corrections, removal requests, or complaints, contact Rampage Labs through /support. The form stores the request for authorized manual review and does not automatically send an email or complete a deletion. Your detailer remains the direct contact for its service records and independent practices.
